Loved this place!
We stayed here over Spring Break and the house was wonderful! Close to the pier and lots of room to spread out. Made great memories and looking forward to coming back! Would highly recommend this house.- Anonymous U , Posted: 07/09/2021
10/10 would recommend
We just left one of the best vacation homes we have rented. There was a water break the day we were coming in and everything was still fresh/clean and check-in was on time. We received text messages on the drive down informing us of all updates. We have rented all up an down the coast, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. I would recommend this location if you want the beach with out the crowds. You can easily explore the rest of the island in minutes. As far as the distance to the pier and jellyfish. We saw a few non-living jellyfish washed up on shore our first day while taking a walk up the beach after a huge storm. . We saw sharks being reeled in at the pier - but it is the ocean and living things are out there. The home is clean and accommodating. There was plenty of space for those who wanted to play board games at midnight- or watch a movie and unwind. The outdoor chairs are perfect for that cup of coffee or glass of wine. There are plenty of grocery stores right off the island (less than 5 miles away) and at this location- traffic is minimal. The further you head towards surf city or topsail- the more traffic and people there will be. Things I would recommend- Leave your troubles at home Bring sunscreen Look for lots of shark teeth Fill any holes dug before going back in, as sea turtles are nesting! (Absolutely amazing experience we had on our last morning about 8 houses SE - that being said visit the sea turtle hospital! Very informative, friendly staff and may spark a love of the ocean you didn’t know you had. If you’re going to order dinner or go out to a local restaurant- go early as lines and crowds seem to go around 6:00. All in all- we had a great time. Couldn’t ask for more from the home. It’s exactly what we were needing.- Anonymous U , Posted: 06/20/2021

Very nice duplex, a few improvements would help
The duplex is quite nice and tastefully decorated. It has beautiful views and I would recommend it highly. There were a few hiccups, however. First, it wasn't as clean as one might expect, and the carpets look like they need a deep clean. Second, the kitchen didn't have some basic items (like a pitcher for ice tea) or good oven mitts. Those sorts of things might seem small, but it is part of what you're paying for when you rent out a house like this. Third, and probably most concerning, I worry that this house is too close to the pier. On the first day we were there, a large shark washed up onto shore (apparently getting caught in some fishing lines). We also saw countless jellyfish washed up on shore. This house is around 300 feet from the pier, and the waters within 300 feet are restricted from swimming (presumably because of the risk from the marine life that gets close to the pier). In any case, we certainly saw more jellyfish (and sharks!) than any of our other visits to Topsail (we've been there 4 other times).
Overall, we liked the house and it was a fine value, but we'd stay on a different part of the beach when we come back.
I also want to compliment Treasure Realty's service. We lost a key to the house, and they were extremely responsive.- Aaron , Posted: 05/06/2021Note: This review was imported when our site was created and is older than 5/6/2021. Help us with a new review!
A whale of a view!
We have been deciding where to go, and found it with Goldsboro Lane-205. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, close to the fishing pier, and on Friday, A whale at the end of the pier. In all the times down, that sight had not been seen by us. We like the quick check in, got some excellent pictures from the wife's Camera-all within walking Distance-totally awesome.- Double D , Posted: 05/06/2021Note: This review was imported when our site was created and is older than 5/6/2021. Sun and sand
My family and I had a great week here.
The off season rates are great.
The duplex was right on the beach and there was room for every one.
The only drawback was the distance from town and it isn't handicap friendly but we knew that going down. All in all it was a fine Easter week.- A Flipkey Verified Reviewer , Posted: 05/06/2021
Nice House and Great Location
We've stayed at this house 3 times in the past, the most recent stay was in 2010. At that time, the house was in need of refurbishing. Appliances were beginning to show the wear, and the kitchen furnishings ... pots, pans, etc., were incomplete.
Treasure Realty was beginning to show that they were the big dog in Topsail; less responsive, not excited about renting or taking care of problems. Perhaps they have improved. We became less enamored with Topsail because of Treasure Realty.
The town is quiet and a wonderful place to spend the summer.- A Flipkey Verified Reviewer , Posted: 05/06/2021
Just add line
What a great week we had here. Our family rented this unit and the one attached for a week of rest and relaxation. Honestly I found this side to be very nice. I really loved how they had decorated the house, and the chairs on the top deck were wonderful. My mother was so happy to be able to see over the rail. The outdoor shower was great at the end of a sandy day. We will hopefully return to this house. The only two things I would note, but not are huge issues is we would mention it is close to the pier. 400 ft or so. There is no swimming 300ft from the pier. The pier attracts wildlife. If you are a light sleeper bring curtains with you, all the sheer curtains on doors in bedrooms are see throughish. Next time I will be bringing blackouts for all the rooms we sleep in.- Patti C , Posted: 05/06/2021
Q: Is there a coffee maker and if so what kind? Do we need to bring our own blankets for the beds and pillows?- Joyce B. Posted: 05/29/2021A:SwipeDrag for Questions/Answers
