Determining the distance between two homes or condos on Topsail Island.

1)  Each home has been given a number that represents the distance from the intersection of Island Drive and New River Inlet Rd.  This is the main Intersection in North Topsail Beach and is the first intersection you will encounter when you enter the Island by the High Rise Bridge (the only access for the north end of the Island).

2)  All homes are either north or south of this main intersection.  To travel north you take a left on New River Inlet Rd. after you cross the High Rise Bridge.  To travel south you continue on Island Drive (A.K.A. Hwy 210). 

3) Doing the math:  Add the two numbers together when one is north and one is south.  Subtract the two numbers when either both are North or both are South.  Please note that these distances are only approximate and are not more precise than one tenth of a mile.  If you would rather not do the math and you have Microsoft Excel you can download a spread sheet that will do the calculation for you by Clicking Here.
