Come and stay at our house! While many of the houses on the island are investment and rental properties, ours’ is a second home. Our family spends a lot of time and many holidays here. The result is upgraded mattresses, more comfortable furniture and many amenities that don’t come in a “rental property”. This 2500+ square foot Oceanfront home has 5 bedrooms and 5 ½ baths. The master has a king size bed, there are three queen sized beds and two sets of pyramid bunks that sleep up to 6. Each bedroom has custom colors and decorations. Each bedroom has a TV/DVD player and upgraded cable service including premium channels. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and full bathroom. The master bath has both a glass shower and a Jacuzzi tub. Three bedrooms have direct beach access and great views to wake up to. The other two bedrooms have views of the Inter-coastal Waterway, where pirates use to wait for merchant ships to sail within range. From the ocean only the topsails of the pirate ships could be seen and so the island was named.

From the living area you can watch dolphins playing in the ocean or breathtaking sunsets over the Inter-Coastal Waterway. Enjoy meals in the bright dinning area or in the kitchen in the high backed stools. The tiled kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities of home and equipped with all major appliances. The family room has a pull out queen sleeper, ceiling fan, sound system and TV/DVD/VCR. The wall of windows makes for amazing views. For those who can’t leave “life on the mainland “the high speed wireless internet works well from any where in the house.

Relax on either of the two ocean side decks in rocking chairs or in the hammock or the front deck where you can see your kids play at the park across the street. Come off the beach on your own private walkway, pause at the built-in seating on top of the dunes for a unique view. The lower level has a fully enclosed hot/cold shower with a large changing area. The private heated pool is sure to send mom and the little ones home well rested and tanned. You can enter through the laundry room dropping your towels into the full sized washer and dryer or the wet weather entrance. There is covered parking for four vehicles. We have a gas grill on a little patio for your convenience. Please feel free to play with any of the toys on the shelves in the outside storage room.

Enjoy your vacation and as I tell our kids “these are the memories that will be with you for the rest of your life, and don’t sit on the couch in your bathing suite.
